The High School Diploma
The high school diploma program at the Amity Foundation site is through an Independent Studies Model. In independent studies, a student is guided by a teacher but usually does not take classes with other students every day, although, it is encouraged for students to attend class during class hours. In order to obtain a high school diploma, a student must complete 180 units of credit.
The GED
The GED, which stands for General Educational Development but is also referred to as a General Education Diploma, is a set of tests that when passed certify the test taker has met high-school level academic skills. Made up of four subject area tests, the GED tests include the following subjects: Reasoning through language arts, Mathematical reasoning, Science, and Social studies.
Five Keys students have the opportunity to prepare for the test while obtaining credits for their high school diploma. In addition, students that are deemed prepared for the test will be able to obtain GED Ready© Practice Test vouchers and GED Test vouchers.

The HiSET
If you want to pursue a rewarding career or continue your education, then getting your high school credential is the most important step you can take. Colleges as well as many employers require one. The HISET ® exam, the new alternative to the GED® test, can help you achieve this important state-issued high school equivalency credential. The Hi-SET includes the following subjects: Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social studies.
